1. When does Tamimi Markets open and close?
Our stores are open 24 hours except on Fridays when we close for 90 minutes during the mid-day Jumu'ah prayers. Friday prayer times change during the year.
During daily prayer times our service counters and checkout stands are closed so that our partners and customers may pray.
2. Can I use a credit or debit card to pay for my groceries?
Yes, we accept all major credit cards and debit cards.
3. How do I suggest a new product?
Customer suggestions are always welcome, and we will do our best to locate the products you request. Before we can import new items, we must first verify they meet Saudi Food and Drug Administration regulations and requirements. To send us your feedback or request, fill out the online form.
4. Can I return something I bought at Tamimi Markets?
Yes. Your satisfaction with items purchased from Tamimi Markets is important to us. Here are our company policies for returns and exchanges:
The original purchase receipt must be provided at the time of return.
The item is in good condition, in its original packaging and can be resold (unless the product was defective or damaged prior to sale).
The item must be returned within 10 days of purchase.
The item must be returned to the store where it was purchased.
Perishable items cannot be returned unless they were defective prior to purchase.
Clothing, newspapers, magazines, books, greeting cards, computer software, audio video tapes or CDs, and other personal items cannot be returned.
5. When did Tamimi Markets open its first store?
The first Tamimi Markets opened in December 1979 on the Corniche in Al Khobar, Eastern Province. Today there are more than 20 Tamimi Markets in Saudi Arabia, and the company plans to have at least 50 stores in the kingdom by 2020.
