Tamimi/Safeway markets celebrate Riyadh expansion

The recent opening of the Ninth branch of the Tamimi Safeway markets in Al-Narjes neighborhood on Othman bin Affan road near Imam University in Riyadh witnessed an extensive presence of a group of Riyadh Municipality officials, general managers of Tamimi/Safeway companies and media men, as well as the presence of a crowd of citizens and residents.
Tariq Al-Tamimi, Tamimi Markets Group chairman, said: We started in 1979 as one of the first and distinguished markets in the Kingdom.We open this branch today due to a future vision to this neighborhood that is expected to be full of people so we try our best to meet the needs of our society. We here provide everything the customer needs and the opening comes with the expansionist policy of Tamimi markets and with our eagerness and keenness to reach customers in different locations”.
Al-Tamimi said: “In this branch we have something different for the customer such as the section of “healthy living” which offers everything people with diabetes and other diseases need. So this way we will meet the needs not only for our customers but for the whole community. We welcome all customers and visitors.”
Al-Tamimi added: “Our prices are affordable for everyone, the modern facilities and latest services are the main things that our markets are distinguished with especially in this branch.”
Mohsen Husein, general manager of Al-Tamimi company for foods, said the branch, built on an area of nearly 4,000 square meters, contains all requirements of the family such as vegetables, fruits, fresh meats, baked goods and electrical appliances. “The market is distinguished with competitive prices and we are planning for a series branches of Tamimi Safeway markets spread across the Kingdom.”
Hussein said the expansion comes under the plans of Tamimi Markets included in the framework of the company’s strategy to increase the number of its branches in the upcoming period to cover all regions of the Kingdom and providing advanced and distinctive services that meet the desires of consumers in obtaining various products of high quality at affordable prices in light of the modern concept “shopping”.
